We create a relaxed, homely atmosphere. We strive to provide everything what is necesary for a good holiday in our apartments. We know Szczyrk and its surroundings from birth, so we provide advice on where to go, what to eat and where to go skiing. We can not wait for your arrival!
In the summer
Szczyrk in the summer is a beautiful mountain area, suitable for hiking and cycling. Mountain tours provide beautiful views, with good wheather conditions you can see even the highest mountain im Poland - Tatra mountains.
It's also a great place for cyclists. Climbing to the summits of the Silesian Beskids by bike is often very time-consuming and tiring. For those cyclists who are mainly focused on downhill rides, it is important to note that the bike can be taken by chairlift to Skrzyczne and a gondola lift to Hala Skrzyczeńska. However, if someone wanted to take a ride to the peaks, he can do it with support, because there is a rental of electric bikes nearby.
Surrounding
In Szczyrk, every fan of active recreation will find something for themselves. Skiing and snowboarding, mountain and bicycle tourism are the basics. St. Jakub's place in the center of Szczyrk is a great place for roller skating, and in winter there is an ice rink. In Szczyrk you can also try an interesting discipline called curling.
On long winter evenings the city offers a variety of restaurants where you can try specialties from different countries, but also enjoy traditional regional dishes. In winter, the SnowFest - festival of music and winter sports takes place, gathering more and more spectators. Iin the summer, the Beskid Culture Week takes place, during which you can watch the performances of many traditional dance groups from around the world.
For skiers
On the ground floor of the building there is a room for storage of ski and snowboard equipment. It has stands for skis and snowboards as well as a shoes dryer. The ski lift is located about 100m from the apartments, so you can change your shoes for ski boots in the building, and go to the slope ready for skiing.
Skituring is becoming more and more popular. Apartments Doliny is the perfect place to start the adventure with this sport. At a distance of 50 m from the building there is a rental of skitour equipment, and the Skrzyczne mountain itself offers the possibility of approaching it by a hiking trail and sliding down by a ski slope.
Location
The facility has its own parking intended for guests. It is located in the second line of buildings on the main street of the city of Szczyrk. Because of that you can not hear street noise, but the access is very easy and everything you need is close. Within a hundred meters there is a grocery store, a restaurant with home-made food and ski service and ski rentals. The nearest ski station (chairlift to Skrzyczne) can be reached in 3 minutes on foot.
Currently, most of the ski slopes in Szczyrk are connected and from this point you can get to almost every slope in two biggest ski resorts: COS and SON, without taking of your skis or snowboard. However, if you want to go to another ski resort or to the center of Szczyrk, you can do it by one of the free Skibuses, which stops every 15 minutes at the bus stop next to the apartments.
